When a fixture is initially loaded it is placed at location 0,0,0 in the grid as shown below:

Note: The currently active fixture is shown in green on the grid. The other fixtures, if present, are shown in blue. The fixture control panel allows the user to move and rotate the fixture position within the grid. The grid axes are as shown below:

Moving the fixture 1ft in the +Z direction (using the slider in the "Z" column of controls) will bring it away from the wall and result in light levels on the wall as shown below:

Each axis has a position slider, value input, and reset button. Z axis is shown below:

The fixture is positioned relative to the grid axes. The reset button is located above the position slider and resets the fixture to the 0 location on the grid for the selected axis. The position slider and value input mirror each other. Move or change one and the other follows. Most of the time the position slider is the quickest and easiest to use. Occassionally the user may need to use the value input when a smaller increment of movement is required.

Note: Rotation of the fixture output is relative to X,Y,Z axes associated with each fixture, not the grid. If a rotation is performed in only one axis then the rotation will also be relative to the grid. Each fixture axis has a rotation roller, value input and reset button. Z axis is shown below:

The reset button is located above the rotation roller and resets the fixture to the 0 degrees rotation in the selected fixture axis. The rotation roller and value input mirror each other. Move or change one and the other follows. Most of the time the rotation roller is the quickest and easiest to use. Occassionally the user may need to use the value input when a smaller increment of movement is required.
