| Version 2.0.1 was released 7th July 2007 - Required Minor Release
Reported bugs (bugs reported and verified 1st August 2007): The following bugs have been reported in Version 2.0.1. 1. If a fixture lumen or light loss factor value is adjusted the light output on the grid will change incorrectly for fixtures with 0-360, 90-270 and 0-90 symmetries. There is no work around in the program. A new release will be made as soon as possible to fix the problem. 2. If a large value is entered into one of the value input fields, such as a fixture X,Y or Z position the program could crash. Avoid entering large values. To avoid any problems only use the mouse to change the value input field values. A new release will be made as soon as possible to fix the problem. Reported bugs in 2.0 fixed in 2.0.1: The following bugs were fixed in Version 2.0.1. 1. If 3dOP Pro is closed/quit with m (meter) mode set in the grid menu on next startup the stats fields are loaded as feet. 2. The stats are incorrect for the area grid. The stats shape position in the +/- z axis is flipped so that the <-W-> setting should be reversed to read the correct statistical values (for example -5 instead of 5 or visa versa). If you do this the statistical shape will be in the incorrect Z axis but the data will be correct. Turn "Shape On" off when outputting data to avoid confusion. 3. In lx mode if switching from the Area to the Ground_Wall grid the isolines will not be displayed correctly. To correct switch from lx to fc and back. Things to watch out for: 1. File Save As does not always inform the user that the document already exists. Windows 98, 2000 and XP the File Save As (Project, PDF etc) does not inform the user that a file already exists in the selected directory if it does. Care should be taken when using Save As not to overwrite an already existing file. On the Mac and Vista the function works properly. Added features: The following new feature was added in 2.0.1: 1. A version checking feature was added to automatically check for new program versions at startup. The user can enable/disable this feature via the version check checkbox in the lower left corner of the license window. The default is off. It is recommended that the feature be enabled. Note: enabling this feature may cause a noticable delay at startup on certain operating systems if the computer is not connected to the internet. If a new version is detected the user is notified by a message box. |
