Version 2.0 was released 1st June 2007 - Major Release

Reported bugs:

The following bugs have been reported and are fixed in Version 2.0.1.

1. If 3dOP Pro is closed/quit with m (meter) mode set in the grid menu on next startup the stats fields are loaded as feet. Either always quit with ft (feet) mode set in the grid menu or adjust stats settings when necessary.

2. The stats are incorrect for the area grid. The stats shape position in the +/- z axis is flipped so that the <-W-> setting should be reversed to read the correct statistical values (for example -5 instead of 5 or visa versa). If you do this the statistical shape will be in the incorrect Z axis but the data will be correct. Turn "Shape On" off when outputting data to avoid confusion.

3. In lx mode if switching from the Area to the Ground_Wall grid the isolines will not be displayed correctly. To correct switch from lx to fc and back.

Things to watch out for:

1. Export of PDF and PS in Photo mode. (Note: Fixed in 204_Install on Mac and 204_setup on PC)

The file created when exporting to pdf or postscript in photo mode is over 6 megabytes. This could be a problem when emailing the file.

On the Mac the Preview application is usually called to display the file. Preview automatically compacts the file.

On the PC it is likely that Adobe Reader is the resident pdf application. Adobe Reader does not compact the file and does not have a built in feature to do so. Adobe Acrobat is required. In Acrobat use the File->Reduce File Size... command.

2. File Save As does not always inform the user that the document already exists.

Windows 98, 2000 and XP the File Save As (Project, PDF etc) does not inform the user that a file already exists in the selected directory if it does. Care should be taken when using Save As not to overwrite an already existing file.

On the Mac and Vista the function works properly.

Added features:

A considerable number of new features were added including the following main ones:

1. The photometric engine was completely re-written and multiple fixtures with individual pan, tilt and roll controls added.

2. A report generator was added that provides four user configured reports providing project, flood, roadway and darksky information.

3. The export option was expanded to provide direct pdf and complex dxf output for templates.

4. The user interface was simplified and improved.

5. A reflected light function was added to the ground-wall grid.

6. A new line isoline algorithm was added to provide professional light level output.

7. A new license registration method was implemented.
